hi all,

i just today installed xubuntu which is replacing windows xp from now on.
on my laptop i have a sitecom cn516 bluetooth usb 2.1 adapter which is
connected to a logitech
wireless speaker adapter. the connection between both above is
established but i cannot change the system settings to get audio run via
the logitech speakers instead of through the internal laptop speakers.


everything functioned under windows xp and when (for trial) i ran ubuntu
from cd i got sound via the logitech speakers as well. i remember being
offered the choice between the 2 options.


anyway, all help is much appreciated

There is something like "sound options" under the "volume" knob. There
you should see the bluetooth (blauwtong) setting.

Install pavucontrol
That should do the trick. Ric

thanks Ric, pavucontrol is already installed, it doesn't detect the
adapter/speakers.

i think i must look for a suitable driver for the dongle
