Default palm rejection time for touchpad

My netbook (acer ao756) has SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad. Under
Settings -> Mouse and Touchpad -> Touchpad I can disable touchpad
while typing. Is it possible to fine tune the timing this feature,
i.e. how long after a keystroke before the touchpad is enabled again?
I have also installed gpointing-device-settings but it does not
support this feature.
