What is it you dislike about Libreoffice? Libreoffice is simply a branch of Openoffice, and Openoffice isn't being developed as much as Libreoffice. Libreoffice is simply Openoffice rebranded (many of the Openoffice developers left Openoffice to work on their own branch, Libreoffice,)

a little help please
I did not find OpenOffice in my download file.
My main problem with Libre is the very small image of a document I am creating on my screen. I must lean toward the monitor to see/read the document.* Cannot find how to enlarge the image or to change the default font. I also find the "Help" section of Libre very complicated and overpowering. On Mon, Jul 2, 2012 at 11:50 AM, Cody Smith <cody.smith9202@gmail.com> wrote: What is it you dislike about Libreoffice? Apache OpenOffice probably has the same problems as Libreoffice does, and it is not very well supported by Ubuntu/Debian. The help section is pretty much the same as it always has been. Zoom can be clearly changed by using the slider and + - buttons in the bottom right corner. Default font sizes can be set under Tools>Options>Libreoffice Writer>Basic Fonts. Libreoffice has had many more improvements, patches and features committed since it worked, and going back to OpenOffice would leave all this behind. On top of all this, it has very limited language support - going to the downloads page gives "A release for English (British) is not available. Please choose from the alternative download webpage for another language." I would strongly recommend using the Libreoffice fork, it is better supported and the recommended version by Ubuntu.
