Xubuntu Panel Notification Area
Using 12.04. There's a new thing in the panel called Notification Area
[NA]. It seems in order to see certain panel items you must have the NA added to your panel. I really don't like this esp. with my hi-res laptop the NA is a tiny area that squeezes the icons smaller and it's really hard to see and unwieldy. Plus I was thinking for a long time all clip board managers I tried did not work in 12.04 until I saw a clip board manager icons are relegated to the notification area, as well as network manager and a bunch of other panel items are for some reason assigned to this. It's hard to see and unnecessary and i want it gone, I want all panel icon big and easy to see. How can I tell Xubuntu I want to see the icons and notifications which for some reason are unseeable without NA to been seen normally on the panel, so I remove NA from the panel?
