Default installation on a second drive

Hello,
Â*
I am trying to make anaconda install a second RHEL 5 on another drive/partition from a running system.
I have been trying and searching the internet for some time now but with no success. I know people managed to do it but not how.
Â*
I can build the chrooted environment with stage2.img and initrd.img, launch anaconda and configure the installation details.
Then I have errors locating repomd.xml or loading the cdrom 2… I guess it is due to the dev management that prevents to access the source path.
Â*
First question : is it possible using different media source (DVD, NFS , ISO)?
Â*
Is there some special device management to understand here?
Â*
Is there a document I missed that would give me those answers?
Â*
Regards
Antoine Gatineau

Default installation on a second drive

Hi again,

Â*

I’m not sure it is the
right place to get support for anaconda. Can someone redirect me to the right
place if needed?

I have a tricky issue
here and would gladly accept some help.

Â*

Thanks

Antoine
