Per Knome's latest footnotes, I reviewed Internet
and Networks. I noticed that the latest Quantal build has changed "Enable Networking", "Connection Information" and "Edit Connections" from a left-click to a right-click on the Network Manager panel icon. I changed those references in the Network Connections and Troubleshooting pages. They are up for re-review. Under
http://dagobah.princessleia.com/Xubuntu/12.10/Photos%20and%20cameras , the guide suggests using gthumb to import photos. The guide has been written well, and gthumb works fine for mass-storage cameras, but I've found that applications using gphoto2 only work for PTP class cameras, such as gtkam. Perhaps a note should be added about this. Joshua -- xubuntu-devel mailing list xubuntu-devel@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/xubuntu-devel |
