I rebuilt just about everything I could, and updated to 3.5.0.5-5
generic AMD64 kernel.

uptime now 5 hours (using Google Chrome) without a lockup.

More news as it comes to hand.

PS. laptop running 5 ~ 10 degrees C hotter with disabled modes.

PPS. Inkscape crashes back to login screen on launch/use. Anyone have
a working Inkscape?
