Minor bug report
 

Has anyone noticed that the log-on dialogue in Xubuntu 12.04 is not
centred correctly on a 1366x768 screen? It is about 20 - 30 pixels to
the right of being centred.

Not sure if this is the place to post this but I found nothing on the
Xubuntu site about where to post a bug report.

Minor bug report
 

Bug reports and bug tracking are done through Launchpad. To post a bug
against [XLK]ubuntu, start at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu and
click "Report a bug". If it's specific to xubuntu, choose
xubuntu-desktop as the package to report the bug against.

The correct package would be xubuntu-artwork, if it's specific to the
Xubuntu theme.

The package you will want to report the bug against is lightdm's
gtk-greeter (https://bugs.launchpad.net/lightdm-gtk-greeter).

If at all possible take a screenshot of the greeter (would have to be
in a virtual machine I guess).

I recently installed Xubuntu 12.04 in a Acer Aspire 5517 with 1366x768
screen and the same bug occurred. The login screen was clearly not
centered and it was visually disturbing.

And i also upgraded my wife's netbook (Samsung N150 plus) 1024x600 (i
think) and the login screen is also off centre.

I do not know how to report this bug in terminal like "ubuntu-bug
package" because i do not know what package is it.

It's not unlikely that on upgrading you got Unity's greeter installed, it looks like this: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3NLUTmJpK54/TzrDehqALUI/AAAAAAAACKk/jI12OXKfEDY/s1600/Unity+Greeter+12.04.png
If that is the case, it's no bug, but by design. If you want Xubuntu's greeter, you have to change the "greeter-session" in /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf from unity-greeter to "lightdm-gtk-greeter".
