Case for netspeed -can this be someway added in xubuntu
hi all,
First of all sorry for crossposting. I love a package called netspeed . See http://www.gnome.org/projects/netspeed/ what do you guys think of a way of having it in some way in add items to the panel thing (which we get by right-clicking on any of the panels. Also is there a way to have that as an entry in my Autostarted applications on my xfce/xubuntu desktop. -- Regards, Shirish Agarwal This email is licensed under http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/ 065C 6D79 A68C E7EA 52B3 8D70 950D 53FB 729A 8B17 -- xubuntu-devel mailing list xubuntu-devel@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/xubuntu-devel Thu Oct 16 21:30:01 2008 Return-path: <arch-general-bounces@archlinux.org> Envelope-to: tom@linux-archive.org Delivery-date: Thu, 16 Oct 2008 21:18:22 +0300 Received: from 66-211-213-17.velocity.net ([66.211.213.17] helo=gerolde.archlinux.org) by s2.java-tips.org with esmtp (Exim 4.69) (envelope-from <arch-general-bounces@archlinux.org>) id 1KqXQU-0002Y4-Na for tom@linux-archive.org; Thu, 16 Oct 2008 21:18:22 +0300 Received: from 66-211-213-17.velocity.net (localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1]) by gerolde.archlinux.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 12DE914F95B; Thu, 16 Oct 2008 14:17:26 -0400 (EDT) X-Original-To: arch-general@archlinux.org Delivered-To: arch-general@archlinux.org Received: from rv-out-0506.google.com (rv-out-0506.google.com [209.85.198.224]) by gerolde.archlinux.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id B8A3014F958 for <arch-general@archlinux.org>; Thu, 16 Oct 2008 13:29:20 -0400 (EDT) Received: by rv-out-0506.google.com with SMTP id b25so81689rvf.39 for <arch-general@archlinux.org>; Thu, 16 Oct 2008 10:29:19 -0700 (PDT) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gmail.com; s=gamma; h=domainkey-signature:received:received:message-id:date:from:to :subject:in-reply-to:mime-version:content-type :content-transfer-encoding:content-disposition:references; bh=oWrLW6ymPwdbS+IwXxxn57hm8jZ9KpKqYpHNZjl4UyE=; b=gEar/sFbg/iGPC9CPbpp+GuHzfNlTMEzZEn43hJwgqffx649b+BdfXcGLAW2 IYWoZv rvhSBOmt2uiQAGGmB5WIF5VqJ4sx86w3TXSUV6bjWNY0nJHh5u qlSheyMwNCf1uErXrg 5Bi/2H2K5kN0o2CIXeqzBIFEaagvJ9PqrSlKI= DomainKey-Signature: a=rsa-sha1; c=nofws; d=gmail.com; s=gamma; h=message-id:date:from:to:subject:in-reply-to:mime-version :content-type:content-transfer-encoding:content-disposition :references; b=R3dL7gr67K0tUvindSX8qVN/6KmxXLlbzyGAh56by0wKDJugPKn2PIBjRiEa9J3IRI 7w9KqoXtra1/x7idwxy00rGqpo8IUjkKTIpfuZAxfP5q9WF/P8QNqZxjQkplBRCjzrLe g/aPTZ0Ls/QrCUcuiCvvM20KE/OD2SbZrq6Lk= Received: by 10.140.249.20 with SMTP id w20mr1790467rvh.103.1224178159912; Thu, 16 Oct 2008 10:29:19 -0700 (PDT) Received: by 10.141.50.2 with HTTP; Thu, 16 Oct 2008 10:29:19 -0700 (PDT) Message-ID: <9085512c0810161029i2f05a89fv74ca9b615fad9059@mail .gmail.com> Date: Thu, 16 Oct 2008 12:29:19 -0500 From: "=?ISO-8859-1?Q?Gustavo_A._G=F3mez_Farhat?=" <gustavo.gomez.farhat@gmail.com> To: "General Discusson about Arch Linux" <arch-general@archlinux.org> In-Reply-To: <ff68bccf0810160849l17576ddvb38664b09742aa5a@mail. gmail.com> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Disposition: inline References: <ff68bccf0810160849l17576ddvb38664b09742aa5a@mail. gmail.com> Subject: Re: [arch-general] pacman error: could not open file /var/lib/pacman/local/ X-BeenThere: arch-general@archlinux.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.10 Precedence: list Reply-To: General Discusson about Arch Linux <arch-general@archlinux.org> List-Id: General Discusson about Arch Linux <arch-general.archlinux.org> List-Unsubscribe: <http://archlinux.org/mailman/options/arch-general>, <mailto:arch-general-request@archlinux.org?subject=unsubscribe> List-Archive: <http://archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-general> List-Post: <mailto:arch-general@archlinux.org> List-Help: <mailto:arch-general-request@archlinux.org?subject=help> List-Subscribe: <http://archlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/arch-general>, <mailto:arch-general-request@archlinux.org?subject=subscribe> Sender: arch-general-bounces@archlinux.org Errors-To: arch-general-bounces@archlinux.org Looks like your pacman database is corrupted. Since this is a GNOME-panel applet, you'll need the xfapplet plugin for the xfce4 panel. This plugin will enable you to use gnome applets on the xfce4 panel.
