Default Ubuntu 8.04 Server gets stack error when booting in VPC 2007 or VS 2005

JEOS was cool, but I found the solution to get 8.04 LTS to work:

http://tombuntu.com/index.php/2007/09/05/making-ubuntu-server-work-in-virtualbox

basically you boot in rescue mode after the install, and change the
kernel to linux-386

thank!
