Default RC to LTS?

Does a system that had the RC of 8.04 require manual steps to be considered the LTS version?

There is at least one other thread on this topic that already contains
the answer. It would be nice to check the archive before asking. Anyway,
no, you will simply get the usual updates (with a notification in your
panel, if you didn't remove that) and then you will run the final
release.
