Folks,

I am trying to set up a 12.04.1 LTS Classic Gnome desktop that functions the
same as my 10.04.4 LTS system using the Gnome desktop (default install).


There are two items that appear to not function correctly(at least that I have
discovered so far).:


Workspace Name do not display - I have checked the names are there but they do
not display on the screen. When I tried to fix the problem I discovered that
Workspace names are deprecated. How do I get them back?


I use the Gnome Invest Applet - It appears to be broken in 12.04.1 LTS. The
displayed stocks and funds I set up need to be changed and the preferences,
about, and lock drop-down entries do not function properly or are non-existent.

How do I correct the problem?

If I need to address this to some other list please let me know.
