Default Monitor powerdown after timeout no longer works since the last updates to 10-04.4 LTS

Greetings all;

And I cannot find an obvious place to set that in the screensaver prefs.

This is at least tripling the use of the CCFL lamp in my SamSung BW-205 on
an nvidia card running the neaveau driver.

Cheers, Gene

I think you will find it under Power Management and not the Screensaver.

The power managements wording, talking about putting it to sleep, is
disingenuous at best. I just set the saver to come on in 5, and the sleep
in 10, so we'll see shortly.

Many people feel that if you won't let them make you happy, they'll make
you
suffer.

You may approve of the fact that on Quantal the wording is "Turn
screen off when inactive for:" with a dropdown list to select the
time.
