Discussion of desired features is reasonable subject-matter for this
list. I'm not likely to quibble about the style of the discussion so
long as it's civil and not too repetitious, nor about the likelihood
of the requested feature being implemented.

This is from http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community/mailinglists:

User lists
The ubuntu-users list is where most technical support discussions occur,
and where users of Ubuntu meet to >discuss new features and ideas they
would like to see in Ubuntu. NB: this is a very high-traffic mailing
list, >generating around 200 messages a day. If you want to avoid a full

I would have thought that discussion of a great desktop Open Source
feature addon to Ubuntu would be encouraged. That project is Ubuntu
centric, doesn't work on any other linux distro, and supports voice
control/manipulation of the desktop. For those physically incapacitated
it would be a major miracle! Adding voice control to a Windows desktop
costs major bucks. Let's not discourage those fine lads that got it to
work. For some folks it would be a life-changer. Maybe someone with the
skill set would offer to assist them, in Open Source fashion.

That's my two cents, I'll shut up about it. Ric
