Acquia Drupal control panel
I've installed Acquia's Drupal - Apache - Mysql - PHP ie. DAMP stack
numerous times on my windoz boxes. Now that I have an Ubuntu 12.04 LTS in my home office I installed; apparently successfully. I get the server running and Drupal working just fine. But where is the control panel? I'd like to configure additional sites, and use phpMyAdmin which on windows installs I do using their control panel. Don't see it on my Ubuntu box. Thanks in advance. Nevermind I found where they say it's not available on Ubuntu.

Marty needs to blacklist that stupid site. phpmyadmin works like a charm on Linux. It probably originated with Linux first, as do most good things. <cackles> Ric -- My father, Victor Moore (Vic) used to say: "There are two Great Sins in the world... ..the Sin of Ignorance, and the Sin of Stupidity. Acquia Drupal - when installed on Windows includes a control panel with a few nifty features such as importing additional Drupal sites, creating blank ones, setting up subdomains, and phpmyadmin. I understand all these features can be gotten by installing and/or configuring them in other ways. It's the convenience of that control panel I was looking for. I'm fine with the mysql command line otherwise, for most things it's prolly better anyway; or I could always install phpmyadmin myself from the Ubuntu software install center. Which is extremely cool btw, from my little experience with it so far. -- ubuntu-users mailing list ubuntu-users@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-users |
