Default How to get rid of the envelope IM/Thunderbird icon in the notification area.
Hi,

How do I get rid of that envelope icon which has notification for IM and
Thunderbird in Ubuntu 12.04 (Unity)? I have tried uninstalling the IM
client, but it's still there.
