Customising live boot CD.
 

I just want to add an extra directory to the ubuntu 7.10 LiveCD and have
followed various howtos (see below). Unfortunately, every attempt ends
up dumping me in a busybox restricted shell rather than starting up
ubuntu properly.

Any ideas what I've been doing wrong?
