Welcome to Ubuntu 11.10 (GNU/Linux 3.0.0-14-generic x86_64)
Edit /etc/motd to change that text.
"Message Of The Day"
just type motd to see it
Anyone logging in sees it. It's a message from the sysop to the
users. A great place for ASCII art. Old Skool stuff... especially
from the days of telnet.<goes AHhhhh! from the memories>

Or, if you just want to get rid of the message for a particular user,
create the file .hushlogin in that user's home directory.
touch ~/.hushlogin
