I have a strange problem. The first user loggin in gets the desktop, but
not others. There will be some kind of very minimal GUI having access to
folders and files, but no proper menu and definitely no Unity.

What might cause this? I have used 10.04 with many users and there was
no problems. Now using Oneiric.
