We have installed Ubuntu 10.04.3 Os in the system & update the Kernel
as well. But still it is not taking the proper Intel HD graphics
Driver. Intel HD Graphics driver is required for some games to run on
UBUNTU 10.04.3.
Now Please help us to get the proper Intel HD graphics driver for this
system on UBUNTU OS.
Thanks,
Saikat Saha

Have you checked the "Additional Drivers" configuration program? If it
provides the driver you want, install it, and reboot.
If it doesn't provide any driver, then try installing
linux-image-generic-lts-backport-oneiric package with Synaptic, and
reboot.

In the second case, also install the package
linux-headers-generic-lts-backport-oneiric.

Install linux-firmware-nonfree, and reboot.
If this doesn't work either, you may try to download and install the
latest Intel graphics driver from Intel web site.
Or you can clean install Ubuntu 11.10. This will be the easiest
solution to work with. This is what I would do.

Hi,
Try this, it worked for an i7 based computer with lucid.
See for more info about the ppas:
https://launchpad.net/~kernel-ppa/+archive/ppa
https://launchpad.net/~glasen/+archive/intel-driver
Add the repos:
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kernel-ppa/ppa/ubuntu lucid main
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/glasen/intel-driver/ubuntu lucid main
Install the packages:
linux-image-generic-lts-backport-natty
linux-headers-generic-lts-backport-natty
Do a dist-upgrade
Best regards,
