Default fsk logs

Ubuntu 11.04One can force an fsck by putting a forcefsck file in the rootI did that ans a next boot I saw the message for 2 minutes that fsck was performed.*But how can you get a log file of the fsck session?
There is a /var/log/fsck directory with 2 files: checkfs and checkbootbut both have date of install of Ubu11.04 and 31 bytes and only contain(Nothing had been logged yet.)nothing was added.
