Default rebuild ruby1.8-dev?

Hello

i have a problem with "gem install xapian-full", it would not build. The system is a Ubuntu Maverick.

i need it for redmine 1.2.2

Version lib6c-dev is 2.12.1-0

Can someone tell me, how can i do?
http://us.generation-nt.com/answer/bug-420325-xapian-bindings-ftbfs-declaration-int-eaccess-const-char-int-throw-throws-different-exceptions-help-167156541.html

from the thread above:
The bug here is in ruby1.8-dev, which needs rebuilding against the
latest libc6-dev. A binnmu should be sufficient if ruby is binnmu safe.

I don't understand what to do :-( sorry.

Thx..

Bruno

this is the error...
