I have a number of systems that spin up, do work, then are destroyed (via Amazon's Auto Scaling). *I'm wanting to disable Upstart shutting down rsyslog so we get every bit of logging before the system is destroyed. *I commented out the stop line in /etc/init/rsyslog.conf but rsyslog is still stopped before my app's shutdown completes (which doesn't use Upstart).
How can I keep Upstart from shutting down rsyslog?
