Default ubuntu-users Digest, Vol 84, Issue 98 - Detection of ATI Video card

Hi Al,

Your question

If you have the card inserted and run either
of the following

commands, do you see anything ATI related?

lspci

lshw -C video

Both show the card, and the chip - R580

But when I load the drivers, and go to the
ATI centre its says card not detected!

Re-installed S/w so many times - both ATI
drivers, and Ubuntu.
