Nope, it's not an UK list. It's an international list where the official
language happens to be English, although I think "Globish" would be a

It is an English language list, but there is no reason to demand
native-speaker mastery of English. Many participants are not native
speakers. At least one of them is one of our most knowledgeable and
helpful contributors. A tolerant and helpful attitude keeps us free of
pedantry and concentrated on solving Ubuntu problems in the best English
we can manage.
