My new installation refused to boot. It got past the splash screen and I
was faced with a blinking cursor.
In rescue mode, It stopped at the point where the last line was about my
Plextor CD/DVD ROM. After unplugging the unit it booted right up.

Tried a different cable - no difference.
Anyone have a clues what's happening?
