Default Unable to connect nokia 5233 to ubuntu

When i connect my nokia 5233 to ubuntu pc and select nokia pc suite* then dmesg command gives the following.

*what bad CDC descriptors means?
*I am unable to connect phone to ubuntu .Please somebody help

Can't help you but I use Nokia apps. on Windows on Virtualbox to get
all the resources of the Nokia suite. Couldn't find a better
alternative.
