I hesitate to write this considering the passion generated by the
'Firefox alternative' threads. So I'll just make it quick.


Thunderbird 5 is out but will not be in the main repository for Natty
and older.

Wait, I don't want to have to go and verify it myself but are you
serious about them not throwing TB5 into the Natty repo's? Link to the
decision?

He could be mistaken and ...the release is still early and *could* make
it into the Natty repo, *but* I thought we should know that Thunderbird
5 is out. Anyway, there's the ppa now available....

Further reading around, I now think Thunderbird 5 will make it into the
Natty repo. Sorry for the noise. Glad that I was wrong.


But, I don't think it will make it for Maverick and earlier repo's, but
of course, it still is not 'sort of problem'.
