Default ghostscipt: pdf2ps with pswrite device produces interlaced character

Package: ghostscipt
Version: ghostscript
Severity: important

Good day,

[I hope my bugreport makes it this time, I had no luck sending two
times yesterday]

The PDF file of Peter Flynn's LaTeX brochure at

shows an interlaced characters in the decorative font on the top left
of the first page when I
used pdf2ps. I have created a minimal example which I can send you (I
have on my other PC at
home where I wrote a more complete report).

The problem occurs *only* with the pswrite device, ps2pdf works
correctly with ps2write, psrgb,
psmono and psgray.

Thus, as a workaround, I have changed the pdf2ps script to use ps2write.

Best regards,
Gernot Hassenpflug
