This is what the "dmesg | tail" said:

180.176285) sd 4:0:0:3: Device Offlined - Not ready after error
recovery.

And your question is?

If you want the meaning, it's pretty evident. The SD card was taken
offline because it was not ready after error recovery. I do not
know what caused it (could be a bad or cheap SD card or anything
else).

What I was wondering is what is causing this. That's why I put the
dmesg message there and Alan had asked for it earlier.

That's the only line? I'd expect a few more lines before that.

Perhaps you could use System -> admin -> disk utility, to check the sdcard?
