Default building ubuntu kernel, "kernel-wedge" missing

i don't want to pester the ubuntu kernel team with this so maybe
someone here knows the answer.

if i want to build a new ubuntu kernel using the ubuntu
infrastructure, i understood that i can install all necessary
utilities with:

$ sudo apt-get build-dep linux

but that apparently doesn't pull in an essential utility named
"kernel-wedge". am i doing something wrong? thanks.

never mind -- apparently, i need to run:

$ sudo apt-get build-dep linux-image-$(uname -r)
