Default How to switch active GPU?

Hi

I've just bought a HP Pavilion dv3 2390eo. The main difference from my
earlier laptop is the additional graphic card (ATI HD 4550).

The thing im having a problem with finding out is:******* - how to
switch active GPU?

************************************************** *********************
*************** - is it possible?

This is very easy in Win7, and im looking for a just as easy way to do
this in Ubuntu.

My motive is to reduce the amount of power used while on battery. this
to save valuable minutes of battery time.

Regards,

Einar

windows didnt do it IMO. it was done by the drivers. if u dont find

drivers that can do that in ubuntu then u have no option left but to

disable the graphics in BIOS itself.S
