Is there a program that runs on Ubuntu 9.1 that is comparable with iTunes?

Just don't expect it to work with an iTouch or iPhone.

Depends on what you mean by comparable ? You need to say what features
are important to you, as as far as I am aware there isn't anything that
does *everything* iTunes does, but there are a lot of great applications
that do a lot of what iTunes does (and some things it doesn't)
Do RhythmBox or amarok fit the bill for instance ?

I'm really looking for the radio listening channels. I enjoy listening
to Gospelgrass while working.
I'll check out these programs and see what they do.

In that case, what you really want to know is "Anyone recommend
software that plays shoutcast"
VLC, will be fine. It'll also play DVD, CD, .mkv, .avi and a multitude
of other formats of audio and video formats to boot.
Sorry to hear about the affliction of the gospel music though. I hope
you get better soon.

iTunes had one that was called Gospelgrass, which is bluegrass style
Gospel. But out of what I've been told about, I found Amarok is about
the best for me... so far. I'm presently listening to Bluegrass on
last.fm which plays both secular and Gospel Bluegrass.
Hopefully, I can find something that will separate the two types.
Thanks...
