Default Ubuntu jaunty hangs xterm

when trying to access a mounted drive.

Trying to access the mounted drive by means of the File Browser has the same effect.

So, it's not an xterm problem, but a mount problem. Or an nfs problem? Or ...?

Anybody any idea what is going wrong?

Thank you,

Guy Thomas

Probably an NFS problem (or whatever mount you are using). Is the server
you are mounting from up? Can you REMOUNT the mount point in question?

Can you post the output of 'mount'?
