I am trying to install Comedi on my kubuntu
desk top. After using Adept to download Comedi
and getting nowhere with the INSTALL instructions
I followed

instructions. It compiled and I did a modprobe and comedi shows
up with a lsmod and the devices are created. However:

ed@washoe:~/Comedi/Qt-wave-1.1$ comedi_test
E: comedi_open("/dev/comedi0"): No such device
ed@washoe:~/Comedi/Qt-wave-1.1$

ed@washoe:~/Comedi/Qt-wave-1.1$ ls -l /dev/comedi0
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 98, 0 2009-03-03 11:24 /dev/comedi0
ed@washoe:~/Comedi/Qt-wave-1.1$

Can somebody help me debug this?
