im trying to add the epson stylus 610 to gutenprint, using the driver provider.
however when i send to print, the printer sounds and move as it will print, including the cd trade but i have a message "the cd isnt on right position", and so on and so on

If you mean Epson Stylus Photo RX610 you could try the pipslite driver:
