details, such as which webpage you are pasting and the web browser you are

Fixed in OOo standard, broken in Ubuntu OOo 2.x, fixed in Ubuntu OOo 3.x
(PPA testing).

There are multiple tests in that bug (links and docs); if you have a
specific webpage that you can verify the crash then add it (or at least
post it here) so that others can test.
