Ubuntu 64 bit

I have an Intel CPU*64 bit machine and was wondering if this Ubuntu Hardy 64 bit iso will work with it?* They keep bringing up an AMD64 system in the texts, and I am confuse if it will work on my Intel machine.* thanks
