Default OOo 3.0 from PPA: is it Go-oo?

I have installed OOo from the openoffice-pkgs PPa however I see no
mention of Go-oo in the splash screen, nor in the about screen. I did
notice, however, that clicking the Extensions button takes me to this
url:
http://extensions.go-oo.org/getmore

Is this a Go-oo or OOo build?

Yes, and yes. (U)OOo is a Go-oo/ximian(Novell) build/branch of OOo.

http://go-oo.org/download/

Ubuntu provides Go-OO in their repositories. To install it just type
as root

# apt-get install openoffice.org

Yes, I know that it was a redirect. I only mention it because it was
the only hint of Go-oo that I could find.

The standard repo is Go-oo, I know this. It also shows Go-oo in the
splash screen and About screen, I think. But this PPA build did not
mention Go-oo in the splash screen or the About screen, which is why I
ask.

I see no reference to Go-oo in the standard (U)OOo 2.4.1 splash screen
or 'Help|About'. Nor do I see it in the PPA 3.0.1 screen. You sure
you're seeing that?

But this PPA build did not

I'm pretty sure that *all* (U)OOo's are go-oo builds regardless of what
the splash screen may (or may not) say. You can follow along on the
mailing list: http://go-oo.org/developers/
http://lists.go-oo.org/listinfo.cgi/dev-go-oo.org

Also, if you:

cat /usr/lib/openofice/program/versionrc

You'll find:
Vendor=Debian and Ubuntu

You'll find posts by Chris Cheney who is responsible for (U)OOo and the PPA.

I'm not seeing that, I don't have 2.x installed. But I thought it was
mentioned once.

That's what I thought to. No big deal, I was just wondering.
