Friends in of Ubuntu, Iam new to this Operating System but I want to be
using it. I have loaded it very well, but to my surprise, I can only use
Word Processor, Spreadsheet and Powerpoint presentation. Where are the
other applications, e.g. Access, Publisher etc? All how can I manage to
install the rest application

Access and Publisher are Microsoft programs, and as such run on the Windows line of operating systems. *If you want to use those programs you'll need to install a virtual machine with a Windows OS, and then the programs. *
OpenOffice, a free multi-os suite of tools includes Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw, and Base, which are*equivalents*to Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Paint, and Access. *You can learn more about OpenOffice at http://openoffice.org
