Gmail problems

I for fun, changed this list from my old k5di@zianet.com to
klarsen1@gmail.com using IMAP. A drawback from this change is that 100%
of my email sent comes from klarse1@gmail.com which is not a problem to
anyone but 2 Yahoo groups who will not send back to me with this address!

Is there a way to get back to k5di@zianet.com while still using Gmail?

Under the "Settings" page on Gmail you can add additional accounts.
From the web interface, then, you can send mail as either account.

(If I really understood your problem)

Go to "Settings" and create a "Label" for the kind of message you want
to treat.

Then go to "Filters" and instruct Gmail to forward the labeled emails to
whatever account you wish.

Done.

As for Yahoo, edit your profile and include in it all your valid emails,
then you might use any of your accounts to post messages to the groups.

OK. I think the right way is to get Yahoo the new and the old URL
and then either will work. But it requires that the Owner approve and
that takes time.
