PS2 Mouse Server Bios Issue

Hi guys and girls,

I have a relic of an apache box running some old sites.

The problem is that it's BIOS is so old that there's no "disable seek KB
on boot" or "No halt on KB error" option. When it's rebooted remotely,
the thing doesn't come up.

What I need to know is - do any of you know which wires I need to bridge
on an old PS2 KB to 'fake the presence' of a KB. (There isn't enough
room in the rack to have an actual KB there..)

Thanks in advance!

CJC

I don't know but maybe this package can help you:

,----[ hwb ]
| Package: hwb
|
| Description: The Hardware Book
| contains misc technical information about computers and other
| electronic devices. You'll find the pinout to most common
| (and uncommon) connectors available, as well as info about
| how to build cables
`----

What about one of those rollup rubber mat keyboards? Surely you could
hang that in a ball somewhere around there.... Or you could gut a
real keyboard and roll that up in a ball. Just some random Possum
Lodge duct tape type ideas.....
