Default /home//.gvfs causing problems for rsync

The subjects says it all. The ~/.gvfs directory causes rsync not to
delete files when ordered to do so. It is not an rsync problem.

And the 'workaround' to exclude the directory like this is not working:

--exclude=".gvfs/"

I hope somebody will fix this bug.

I use this:

--exclude "- .gvfs/"

... and it works fine.

Thanks for your answer. Just a pity that it does not make difference here:

% grep gvfs /usr/local/bin/rugsteun.sh
--exclude "- .gvfs/" --exclude "/home/js/.cache"

% rsync: readlink "/home/js/.gvfs" failed: Permission denied (13)
1127831 files to consider
IO error encountered -- skipping file deletion

Please post the entire command line that is executing rsync. If it's a
script, please post the whole script. Also, what user is executing this
script?

Please - post the whole rsync command, the whole script it is in, and
the user it is running as. Otherwise we really can't help much more.
