Hi.
I just finished to instal Intrepid Ibex 64bits in dual boot environment with XP, my pc has 2 sata disks
Then i wanna a graphical environment for grub
1. uninstal grub
2. Instal grub-gfxboot_0.97-11_amd64
3. try to reinstall grub with sudo grub-install /dev/sda
4. i got the following:
The file /boot/grub/stage1 not read correctly.
5. i enter to grub and try to locate it
find /boot/grub/stage1
6 I got the following:
Error 15: File not found
then i quit from grub and type:
file /boot/grub/stage1
i got the following:
/boot/grub/stage1: x86 boot sector; GRand Unified Bootloader, stage1 version 0x3, GRUB version 0.97

SO I have the stage1 file.
whats the problem?
i try to fix the grub with Supergrub disk, but i have
nothing
