However, they do not seem to know that, so you'll have to tell em. I do not know how to do that permanently, but you can just enter the player in the "open with" box that apears (at least you can in KDE3.5). I suggest the "flashplugin-nonfree" package. It's the most compatible... currently at version 9.0.124, so will run anything designed for flash... and installed as a Firefox plugin. Then Open your .swf in Firefox. Gilles -- ubuntu-users mailing list ubuntu-users@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-users |

However, 'help me' doesn't /begin/ to cover what may or may not be the problem. How many times have we been asked 'what's wrong?' and get back 'it don't work'? Surely, even the n00bs should know the minimum requirements for asking a question about a problem. I mean, Derek has quite a valid point. We don't KNOW what the problem is becuase we don't know /anything/ about his setup and what he's tried. -- Libenter homines id quod volunt credunt -- Caius Julius Caesar Mark Haney Sr. Systems Administrator ERC Broadband (828) 350-2415 Call (866) ERC-7110 for after hours support -- ubuntu-users mailing list ubuntu-users@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-users |
