VirtualBox is missing one or more dependencies, in RPM world called
dependency hell :-)
Virtualbox is already packaged in Ubuntu, so simply do
$ sudo aptitude install virtualbox-ose
It might not be the newest version, but its a clean system
administration concept. Always use Ubuntu packages if they are available.

If you install the OSE, then you don't get some of the fancy features
like USB support, or SATA support. Also the OSE version doens't support
RDP so no remote viewing of your virtualized desktop.

Except for many of us that doesn't do nearly enough (e.g., no USB support).
You can get the full virtualbox from sun, packaged for Ubuntu.

Well... people in the industry are managing farms of virtualized
servers... RDP is useful for them if they are in a Windows
environment...
