Default a silly question on ubuntu 8.04 and 8.04.1

*just out of curiosity, i had 8.04 and keep update whenever i turn on the pc (sudo apt-get update and upgrade). does this means i have 8.04.1 now? or i have to download it or do something else? if the former is correct, why the "sysinfo" and other application such as "system monitor" saying my system is 8.04 instead of 8.04.1?

thanks.
