hi all
i am not able to install ubuntu on my ps3 (my cd drive goes nuts and
crashes at random spots on the installer (even with the alternate
install)), but i can run it off of the live cd
so after about blowing through 5 alternate install cd's and having no
luck, i decided to use the live cd and have it save the changes to my
hard drive.
right now im using rsync to sync the files to a specific folder on my
ps3's hard drive, but i have to do it manually and i have to re run
rsync everytime i change something. besides, i havent been able to sync
my settings to the hard drive.
is there a specific program or command that you know of that will sync
my files and settings to the hard drive _before_ i shut it down so i
dont loose data?
