New updated firefox 2.0.11 keeps crashing in Intel PIV-3.0Gh hyperthreads-1G memory desktop
I have multiple machines to install Gutsy Gibbon. Today after updating firefox and a bunch of other stuffs, one of them keeps crashing.
The machine is:
CPU: Intel PIV-3.0Ghz hyperthread
Memory:1G
Graphic card: Intel integrated card
I just run "firefox" in a command terminal, when I opened two tabs and switch from one to another, it crashed and show me "Floating point exception (core dumped).
It should be a bug, can someone reproduced it?

This sounds like a bug to file with Firefox (if there is not already a bug of this nature on their tracker, which you should look for before starting a new issue).* When you do, try to provide them with more information including the version of Firefox, and perhaps a backtrace or some other information you can get out of the core with gdb or some other utility.

It's possible. This is the sort of thing that should be reported in

What happens if you try again with a different theme?
For example, the standard Ubuntu theme, rather than this "Mac4Lin" theme?
Just eliminating this as a possibility. Perhaps reset the Firefox theme to
the "default" theme as well, just to see if this is related to the problem.

Has anyone else applied these last two updates for Fire Fox without a

I've already change both the gtk theme and firefox theme back to the default. The problem still exists.
So I dont' think it's related.

I think I found the problem. It should only affect Chinese users.
If you installed the package "xfonts-wqy" that is a Chinese font, you will definitely meet the problem. I don't know if it's a bug related to the firefox or the font.
After removing the package, everything goes well.
I can even download the font deb file from "xfonts-wqy" website to get the latest one to install, it works well. So I think it should be related to the font package in Ubuntu repository. To be honest, its version is too old.
