Default yum/rinse not seeing sqlitecache

Package: rinse
Version: 0.9-1
Severity: important

I am not sure if this is an issue with (1) rinse (2)
yum or xen-tools.
When I use xen-create-image utility of xen-tools
(which in turn uses
rinse -> yum), I am getting the following error:

Installation method: rinse

Running post-install script post-install.sh:
Creating resolv.conf
[: 32: ==: unexpected operator
BUGFIX
Mounting /proc
Bootstrapping yum
Authfix
There was a problem importing one of the Python
modules
required to run yum. The error leading to this problem
was:

No module named sqlitecachec

Please install a package which provides this module,
or
verify that the module is installed correctly.

It's possible that the above module doesn't match the
current version of Python, which is:
2.4.3 (#1, May 24 2008, 13:57:05)
[GCC 4.1.2 20070626 (Red Hat 4.1.2-14)]

the yum faq at:
